10G Juventus White Champions at 2019 MVLA Spring Cup

[02 May, 2019] The 2010G Juventus White Team were Champions in the 2019 MVLA Spring Cup. The team had 2 shutout wins and 1 loss in group play. They lost a tight, hard fought match to Burlingame 4 to 2 on Saturday but were able to advance to the finals and get a rematch vs. Burlingame by shutting out Alpine on Sunday morning. The girls work ethic, skills, and resiliency were on display all tournament, and especially in the finals match vs. the strong Burlingame team; ultimately winning 7 to 0. In the finals, the girls used their increasing abilities and confidence on technical and tactical elements of the game to take an early lead and never looked back. Congratulations and thank you to Coach Kilee and the team for a great tournament performance and hard fought victory.
