11G Madrid Blue Finalists at MVLA Bay Area Spring Cup

[30 April, 2019 by Team Manager Han Ming Ong] The 2011G Madrid Blue team came in second in the MVLA Spring Cup. After the 3 group games, they qualified for the finals with maximum points. They were respectful of their opponents too, preferring to pass the ball rather than continue scoring after the first half. In the finals, they faced an opponent who had beaten them 4-0 in December. But our girls have improved a lot since then and were able to match the opponent evenly. It was 0-0 in the first half and 1-1 in the second half until a last minute goal. Congratulations and thank you to coach John Slegg and his girls for playing so valiantly.
