05B Pumas White win NorCal State Cup in their Division

Congratulations to the 05B Pumas White team and Coach Carlos Menjivar Sr., for winning the Platinum 4 division of the NorCal State Cup.  The team moved to the finals match after beating Sacramento United White 1-0 in the Quarterfinal, then dominating in the Semifinal with a 8-0 win against Loomis YSC Young Boys.  In an exciting Final game against De Anza Force 05B, the teams tied 2-2 before MVLA Pumas White took the penalty shoot-out to win the Finals.

Coach Menjivar had this to say about his team, "The 05 Pumas White team did an excellent job by winning the  2017-2018 State Cup Platinum level.  The hard work of the boys throughout the state cup games was high level.  I am very proud of the entire team for having obtained such a rewarding result.  I would like to congratulate and thank the parents, Azar, Cyril, Aladdin and Babette for their valuable contribution to the team. Our goalkeeper Luc stopped two penalty kicks.  Thanks Luc for your very valuable contribution to the state championship".
