05B Pumas Blue - NorCal League Champions

[17 December, 2017 by Jon Meyer].  MVLA 05B Pumas went undefeated to claim the title of the boys U13 NorCal Premier Region 2 North champions.  Despite facing many challenging opponents including Stanford SC United, Palo Alto SC, and Force North (among others), and with vision, direction and encouragement by Coach Carlos Menjivar, Jr., the MVLA 05B Pumas played tough to finish with a 6-0-3 record.  Leading the charge was a potent offensive front, that put up a total of 24 goals throughout the 9-game season.  Not to be outdone by its imposing offense, the Pumas defense and goalkeeping combined to establish an "iron curtain" vs. its opponents, allowing a season total of only 5 goals.

Congratulations to the boys and Coach Carlos Menjivar Jr. on a fantastic NorCal Premier U11-13 league championship!  Go Pumas!
