07B Boca Jr.'s Green Finish First at MVLA Winter Cup

Congrats to Boca Jr.’s Green and coach Afshin Shafie, two time Bay Area Cup Champs (Fall & Winter Bronze division). For Winter Cup, the team started the tournament with a loss to PAC San Jose 07 Alianza (3-1). The boys managed to secure a spot in the finals by defeating SF United 07 Los Diablos (8-0) and West Marin Ross Valley Breakers (5-2). The team had to face PAC San Jose 07 Alianza once again for the finals. It was a very hard fought match which the boys dominated from the beginning and defeated PAC by score of 4-1. Well deserved victory for the team and a great end to their fall 2016 season (missing from the photo: Tyler Erdell).
