07B Boca Jr. White Secures 1st in League after Exciting Finish

[23 November, 2016 by Brian Lunn] Congratulations to the Boca Jr White team and coach Alex Mejia in finishing the 2016 Fall season undefeated (6-0-3).  The team sealed first place for the Norcal Silver Elite league in the last game of the year with a dramatic come from behind victory over San Carlos.  After trailing 3-0 at half, the team roared back with 4 unanswered goals.  Coach Alex was particularly proud of the team’s ability to finish strong in the second half of the season because it was a weakness and an area of focus in the early part of the season.  (missing from the photo is Jonah Altschuler)
